Our Story
Founded in Italy in 2015 by Federica Valsecchi and her father Ettore, The Nadia Valsecchi Foundation was created in loving memory of Nadia, Federica’s mother, who passed away from pancreatic cancer far too soon.
As a scientist who understood the complex biology of this devastating disease, Federica knew that research was the only path forward. From the very beginning, the Foundation was born from both love and science — a way to transform personal loss into lasting progress.
What started as a family initiative in Italy has grown into an international effort that connects the world’s brightest minds in pancreatic cancer research. Today, the Nadia Valsecchi Foundation, based in New York, serves as a bridge between global research, accelerating discoveries that bring hope and time to patients and families everywhere.
Our Mission
The Nadia Valsecchi Foundation is committed to beating the odds of pancreatic cancer by fostering groundbreaking collaborations between scientific and medical experts in Italy and the United States.
